Piano Hire and Buy Scheme

A variety of new and used upright pianos can be hired from me for a period of a year or more. Please note hire pianos can only be sent to areas in which I tune.

The aim of this scheme is to provide a pianist with a good quality instrument for their first year. I can offer a range of instruments at competitive rates. At the end of the year you have the option to buy the piano with a discount, hire it for another year or return it. Hiring is a good option if you don't know whether the piano is the right instrument for you.

Piano hire starts form £30.00 per month.

I have drawn up a typical contract to show the conditions of piano hire.

Hire Conditions:

1. The minimum length of time that is permitted is one year
2. The cost of moving the piano should be paid by cheque along with the first month's hire charge
3. Subsequent month hire charges should be paid by standing order (standing order form enclosed)
4. Two proofs of residence should be provided, these will be returned immediately.
5. In the case of pianos valued over £1,000,00 insurance companies usually insist in
6. homeowners having the instrument listed on the household insurance
7. You will be liable to pay for repairing damage to the case work of the piano should this arise during the hire period
8. The piano remains the property of Paul Corby Pianos.
9. The piano must be tuned by us twice a year.

If you like to purchase the above instrument after a year we will refund 80% of the hire charge against the full asking price.
